Land parcels are like Axies, or ZedRun horses, in that they have to be 'created' by existing land owners… and the more central the land creating the new land, the more valuable the new land is.
Funds, DAOs, Enterprises and Neighbourhoods could create and sell land parcels around their own land… and the price of those land parcels would be entirely market driven. You wouldn't get land speculators sitting on unused land, as purchased land parcels only appear in the Metaverse when they are actually used. Pure speculators could buy them, sit on them, trade them, all without the Metaverse experience being affected.
Each land parcel has a 'Generation' ranking. A Generation 1 land parcel can create a Generation 2. A Generation 2 parcel can create a Generation 3, etc.
Every land parcel pays the creator of their land parcel, and the entire Generation above their land parcel Generation, a percentage of the revenue they generate.
This is why a land parcel created by a 1st Generation land parcel is valuable, because it will be Generation 2, which will earn yield from all Generation 3 land parcels.
Land parcels created by central land parcels, regardless of Generation, earn 'rent' from the land parcels they sell around their location, in the form of a percentage of their revenue.
Land sale revenues generated by any Fund in which ASLN has been staked are distributed to to those ASLN stakers, no different to revenue generated by that Fund through their asset management.
This is the generational dynamic… but rather than merely the first 'generations' automatically being the most valuable, it is the earliest + the most central (i.e, the highest performing). Early land acquirers are rewarded for their early support and contribution, while the highest performing are rewarded even more.
This means early generation real-estate could be valuable, and therefore maintain its central location purely because of the revenue it generates from the real-estate it has created and sold.
There could be a Land Sales tax, where perhaps 10% of all revenue from Land Sales goes directly to the Unmanaged Reserve, contributing to the success of the entire ecosystem.
Perhaps the original 'Founder' land is divided into different architectural lineages, like Roman, Victorian, Greek, Japanese, etc, like ZedRun horses are divided into Bloodlines?
We could also include a random genotype style mechanic where new land has randomly generated 'genotype' features, which depends on the genotype within their creator land.
This would build the random super rare, rare, common, mechanics into the land generation that gives land creation that fun Pokemon/football card pack novelty.
Kingsilver land 'genotypes' could dictate how the land or property on that land expresses itself, which combines to add real value to the land.
