Enterprise DAOs
While the long term vision for Enterprise DAOs are that they will represent ownership and control over a Web 3.0 Enterprise that exists purely on and is governed entirely with distributed ledger technology, the Web3.0 space isn't yet sophisticated enough. Shareholders of legacy corporations are protected by well established and battle-tested legal systems within their respective jurisdictions, and no equal exists yet within the Web3.0 space.
For now, then, Enterprise DAOs will own real shares in real companies.
Enterprise DAOs will have legal representation and protection with a Malta Foundation. The elected representatives, voted on by DAO Share holders, will sit on the board of those Foundations.
Owners of that DAOs DAO Shares can vote on a representative to represent their interests at any shareholder meetings set by that company.
Enterprise DAOs, then, allow companies to sell a percentage of their shares to a potentially very large community of crypto investors while only have to communicate with a single representative of that DAO.
